Happy & Healthy Little Baby Boys

Today the boys are 14 weeks old! They are happy, healthy little babies. They are doing great and make us laugh with their cute smiles and noises. Branson and Holden are growing and doing more and more each day - we can't wait for what's around the corner.

The Latest Big News!

They have been champion sleepers this weekend! They obviously like sleeping in their own cribs. Friday night they both lasted approx. 10 hours in between feedings. Uncle Edward and Aunt Whitney babysat for us last night while we went to dinner... and I'm not sure what they did to the boys but last night the boys broke all the records and went to sleep before we did and didn't wake up until 7am this morning! "Cellllleebraaaaation, c'mon"!! Woohoo, Ashley and I sure were happy with them. And unbeknownst to Uncle Edward and Aunt Whitney they have now topped the babysitter list and will be used again... we'll be calling them very soon. Also, this morning Holden rolled over for the second time all on his own! Yeah!

First Night In Their Own Cribs

Tonight is the boys' first night own their own and not sharing a crib! We figured that they've had about a year together so far - only three months on the outside - and are getting too big to share the same crib. I think they'll take it in stride and be fine with it. They will be able to still see each other through the bars of their crib and will certainly hear one another I'm sure. Our little babies are getting to be big babies so fast.

Knuckleheads

Their father affectionately calls them knuckleheads and these two cute knuckleheads are 12 weeks old this week! Wow! Can you believe it?!? They had a great night last night and went 9.5 and 10 hours; Holden was the winner with the 10 hours and gets the blue ribbon. We were so HAPPY!!!! Now if they can only continue that good behavior from here on out!
They are making many more cute noises and love to be sung to. Luckily they don't notice that Ashley and I don't sing very well and really don't know all the words to the limited number of songs we know. They seem very alert and are grasping at toys more and more. It won't be long until they are both off and running ~ in different directions I'm sure!

Smileypants

Holden is a smiler. Actually they both are, it's just so darn hard to catch it with the camera. This was a cute picture of Holden with his Poppy; he's named after him so I thought it was fitting to catch them bonding. Two cute Coneheads!

Going Places

These little boys love to get out and go! They love to cruise around in their minivan and see new things. However, on the weekends they mostly like to just chill and order breakfast in bed. They live a good life! Seriously though, they are three months old this week and big ole boys. They had a good check-up recently and were 14lbs and 13lbs; Branson weighed more. Believe it or not they were the exact same height and in the 95% for their age... my guess is they will be tall boys. Thanks for checking in with us (sorry for the delay...
