Naptime is always interesting

Today Branson and Holden went down for a nap; and about forty five minutes later they were still talking and giggling. Well a few more minutes went by and they were really screaming and laughing, just cracking themselves up from what I could hear on the monitor. I knew something was up... and this is what I found when I peeked in on them. They are rotten little boogers!

9 Months Old Today

Today the boys turned nine months old. Coincidently we also installed their 'big boy' car seats today. They have already outgrown their baby car carrier seats (sniff sniff). They really love their new rides though... comfy,cozy and a lot more room for big, tall boys. They said they feel like they have been upgraded to first class seats! Yee ha!

I thought a Before and After picture would be neat to share! They barely fit into their baby carriers on the ride home from the hospital, approx. nine months ago. Pretty crazy to see that!

Growing Growing Boys!

Branson and Holden love to play and wrestle with each other. They especially like to play with the same toy (at the same time I might add), which I'm sure is going to get interesting as they get older. I think I will just let them work it out and only interfere if I need to. They are getting so big so fast. I can't believe they are 8 months old and already wearing size 18 months! They are big baby monsters and getting heavier and taller by the day. haha! We are so lucky that they are healthy, happy and sweet little boys.

Here Holden is trying to act innocent on the stairs. He is about to start walking any day now! Holden gravitates to the stairs and Branson to the big bean bag; both make Mommy nervous.

Ta da... take a look at Holden's awaited front teeth...front and center! He's so happy about it too. There's nothing like having a few more choppers to help a man out at the dinner table, ya know!

No.... they can't drive yet, but they sure had fun pretending!

Visit to the Zoo

Emma, my 4 year old niece, and Grandmama went to the zoo with me and the boys today. We all bundled up. It was chilly but not too bad once you got in and even better once inside the animal exhibits. Branson and Holden really liked looking at the Gorilla and in the middle picture you can see Holden studying the gorilla; his reflection is in the glass. I think the gorilla smiled at him.

6 teeth (oops really only 5)!

Branson is working on getting his fifth tooth in! Earlier I said it was six, so I thought I'd print a retraction. Holden only has two right now... the top ones are right there ready to pop through, any day now. Holden was sleeping so I gave Branson a Zwieback toast to gnaw on. Fun Fun Fun
