Look closely and you can see the fresh boo boo on Branson's forehead. He got it right when we were leaving for the mall. He fell and hit the corner of the car door. ouch!

C-C-Cold Snow Day!

At first Branson and Holden were a little reluctant to touch and play in the snow. But then, and mainly this goes for Holden, he realized he was outside and running free and that was enough for him. It was pretty cold so we didn't stay outside long; especially since I couldn't find their darn hats and gloves ~ ugh! But it was the boys' first snow day! Yippee!!

We Love Pizza!

These boys sure looked cute in their overalls that Papa dressed them in the other day. I told them to hold hands so I could take a picture and they loved it so much they kept on holding hands minutes after. Not sure which boy likes pizza more - it's their favorite food (well, that and pasta) my little Italian boys!

Branson and Holden 2009

These boys get sweeter and sweeter. Branson is a hugger and loves to dish out random kisses just because. Holden is really a mama's-boy and a very kind soul. They will help me out on command now and it's getting better all the time. I can ask them to go get their shoes, pick up something and hand it to me or their brother (i.e. please give this cup to your brother), close the door, turn on the light, etc. I was talking to Branson in the kitchen the other day and said we need to put your shoes on, oh darn I think your shoes are upstairs... well about 3 seconds later I hear the pitter patter of little feet upstairs getting his shoes! I cringed and thought, oh my gosh he went upstairs all by himself, eek... then I thought and yelled up "while you're up there will you get Holden's shoes too please?" and he did. They recently helped me pick up pinecones in the yard, and they love to help me sweep. Hello... they are not even two yet; the training has begun! mmmmooooohhhhooooohhhhaaaaaa (sinister laugh) I'll be sipping Mimosas on my patio and having them plant my tulips by next Fall! haha

Also, they love books about trucks and tractors or when we get to actually see some. We made a visit out to the farm and they loved sitting on the big tractors! Another funny thing they've been doing lately is, and this is even surrounded by many cool toys, wanting to try on and walk around in Ashley's or my shoes. They love to do it. It's quite funny to watch them struggle with putting them on and then trying to walk in them without falling. Good times!

Goodwill and Peace towards... oh, oh Christmas Morning Toy Fight

Darn that Santa... he only brought us one big firetruck this year... doesn't he know that one-and-a-half-year-olds have trouble sharing?!? Lesson learned, next year he'll know better! It was a really fun Christmas morning and the only little hiccup was the firetruck fight, so after that little disagreement was over it was play play play all morning long. Branson and Holden got dump trucks, bull dozers, golf clubs, Leggos, big boy underwear, pjs, balls, bath toys, remote control cars, bean bags, Mr. Potato Head, etc. etc. soo many great toys that they really love. And since it has been a few days...they are sharing the firetruck just fine now.
