Weekend Walk for March of Dimes

Ashley's bank was a sponsor for the big March of Dimes walk that was held on Saturday. It was a little over 3 miles and it was a great day for walking; early enough so it wasn't too hot. We met up with several of his coworkers who were also doing the walk. Branson and Holden enjoyed people watching and especially dog watching. There were many strollers and dogs along for the walk. We had a great time and the boys got an A+ for good behavior (of course the extra snacks and odd toy to play with along the way helped us out). Here are my 3 boys all in their shades - too cool for school!

This warmer weather has been great! The boys had dinner outside last night and today they demanded that their lunch be served outside as well (demanding little boogers!). I am actually happy to oblige - my kitchen stays much cleaner and it's much easier to run a wet rag over the picnic table then have to wipe down two highchairs!! Branson and Holden will soon be TWO YEARS OLD on Friday. Holy Cow - nuff said.
This morning we were trying to get out the door to play and once everyone was dressed and ready to go...they decided they wanted to switch shoes. Not really a problem, just that Branson wears a size bigger shoe. I don't think he understands that yet - I tried explaining. They both recently got new shoes and Branson doesn't like his, he likes Holden's and Holden wants to wear Branson's old shoes. Ugh!
After lunch today they each got a popsicle. Holden ate his in about 2 min. and Branson still wasn't finished with his after 20min. Well, after a while Holden got sick of looking at it and decided to help Branson out with his. It turned into a friendly popsicle wrestling match. I'm just glad it all took place outside.

Sunshiney Saturdays!

Well, we were elated to have such a beautiful Saturday this past weekend. Poppy sent the boys a special present a few weeks ago and we finally had a chance to open it up and play with. Well, IT WAS BIG! BIG FUN that is!!!!!! Ashley and I sat back in our lounge chairs enjoying the sunshine while being thoroughly entertained by our offspring. I can't tell you in words how much fun Branson and Holden had; it was hysterical. They bounced their cute little behinds off! Later that afternoon they slept really really good at naptime.

What's been going on...

Branson likes wearing his fishing hat around just for the heck of it; he has grown out of the phase of not wanting to wear hats or hooded jackets thankfully!!

Holden got a hold of an Easter egg shaped like a carrot and had it in his mouth all day; just wait until he finds out those things hold candy - he's going to be pleasantly surprised!!
These horsemen like to ride fast and furious. They can now get on and off Wonder Horse (aka Clip Clop) without any assistance. Yeehaw!




The other day Branson and Holden double-teamed me and took off down the street (luckily we are on a cul-de-sac) with their cars. They would not take "NO" for an answer... so I say Hey, if you can't beat 'em join 'em... and off we went. They checked out all the neighbors' homes/driveways etc; I had to stop them before they took their cars into fenced-in backyards. Nosey little fellows!
